Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya ,Mahoba, since its establishment on 18th April 1994 , has been continuing its efforts in imparting modern and quality education to the selected rural children of the district which would, otherwise, have been deprived of such facilities. Free education, free board and lodging have made this Vidyalaya a unique institute. This Vidyalaya has already produced a no. of doctors, engineers, defence personnels and civil servants over the years.
